Case Study: Brand Film Production
WM New Zealand
For WM New Zealand, we produced a cinematic brand film to launch the organisation’s refreshed brand positioning - away from Waste Management to WM New Zealand.
The film needed to operate across multiple parts of the business — externally as a public-facing brand piece, and internally across recruitment, HR, and corporate communication. It had to carry the ambition of the brand refresh while remaining grounded in the reality of the organisation’s work.
Working directly with WM and in collaboration with their agency, we translated the agency’s concept into a cohesive and visually ambitious film.

Production included:
Sunrise and sunset cinematography across multiple locations
Drone footage capturing elements of the fleet within the New Zealand landscape
Purposeful camera movement to bring energy and momentum to key scenes
Council permitting and detailed location coordination
Scheduling within live operational environments
Coaching internal team members to deliver natural, confident performances alongside professional talent
The result was a visually striking brand film designed to anchor the brand refresh and support its use across the organisation.
