What we make

Clear, engaging video for INDUCTION, HEALTH AND SAFETY training, and critical communication

As compliance requirements increase, organisations need training and induction safety video content that is clear, consistent, and easy to deliver at scale.

At Creation Films, we produce internal communications, training, site induction, and health & safety video that helps organisations cleverly communicate essential information without relying on repeated in-person delivery.

A glimpse of the Gilmours staff induction safety video.

We guide the process carefully from concept through to production and delivery.

Clients value our ability to balance creative thinking with structure, accuracy, and a calm, well-managed process — knowing their project is in safe hands from start to finish.

For many of our clients, this means:

  • Higher engagement with key learning messages

  • Fewer repeated in-person inductions

  • Less reliance on key staff to deliver training

  • More efficient onboarding for new starters and contractors

  • Reduced disruption to operational and leadership time

Because their induction safety video is planned and produced carefully, it can be reused, updated, and scaled across teams or sites — delivering long-term value rather than a one-off solution.

Video also removes variation. Every person receives the same information, presented clearly and accurately, supporting compliance requirements and reducing the risk of messages being diluted or misinterpreted over time.

If you’re looking to improve the way your organisation delivers training, induction, or critical internal communication — and want a production partner who can guide the process with clarity and care — we’re here to talk.

Case Studies

Pak’nSave  |  Gilmours

We’ve worked with multiple independently owned Pak’nSave and Gilmours stores to create staff induction content that balances shared operational standards with individual store culture.

Because each store is owner-operated, the challenge is not simply delivering information — it’s creating induction content that feels relevant, engaging, and credible to new staff, while still reinforcing consistent expectations around safety, service, and day-to-day operations.

To achieve this, we developed simple but deliberate creative devices — including an exaggerated “superfan” character who blogs about the store along with visual metaphors — to acknowledge the familiarity staff already have with the retail environment, while reframing key messages in a way that felt fresh and memorable.

The creative approach used humour and visual devices to keep people engaged, while reinforcing important information in a way that aligned with each store’s specific culture.

BAY OF PLENTY asphalt

We’ve produced induction and safety video for smaller, family-owned businesses operating in high-risk environments, where clear communication can be genuinely life-saving.

In this project, the focus was on carefully guiding staff through critical ear and eye protection requirements, site hazards, and safe working practices. The content needed to be straightforward, respectful, and easy to follow — ensuring safety information was clearly understood without overwhelming the viewer.

Our approach combined real-world footage of people working together on site with simple, well-designed on-screen graphics to reinforce key points at the right moments. This helped support different learning styles while keeping the content practical and grounded.

Beyond induction, much of the footage was later repurposed for marketing and communications, giving the business additional value from the same production.

This example demonstrates that well-considered training and safety video isn’t only for large corporates — it’s equally valuable for smaller organisations where consistency, clarity, and care matter just as much.

Fisher and Paykel Healthcare

In a highly regulated manufacturing and healthcare environment, site induction for external contractors needs to be accurate, consistent, and taken seriously.

We worked with Fisher & Paykel Healthcare to produce site induction videos framed around the organisation’s commitment to world-class excellence — connecting safety, process, and responsibility to the standards required to perform at the highest level.

Using familiar sporting references, the content positioned health and safety as part of a broader culture of excellence, rather than a set of rules to comply with. This approach helped engage contractors while reinforcing the seriousness of the environment and expectations before they entered the site.

Delivered via video, the induction ensured consistent messaging, reduced reliance on repeated in-person briefings, and gave contractors a clear understanding of what was required to operate safely within a world-class organisation.

Long-Form Software Walkthrough — Supporting Informed Decision-Making

We worked with infoodle to create long-form video walkthroughs designed to support the sales process by clearly explaining how the software worked in practice.

Accompanying the animated marketing videos we also created, these demonstration videos were structured as instructional run-throughs — guiding prospective customers through key workflows and features in a clear, logical way.

This training-style approach allowed infoodle to present consistent, detailed information without relying on repeated demonstrations, helping potential customers build confidence and make informed decisions at their own pace.
